Cacao Smoothie

This healthy vegan smoothie is packed with superfoods and is so tasty that it will bring you back to your childhood! Perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Recipe

Makes 1 glass // Prep Time: 5 minutes // Active Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brewed MiCacao Cacao Tea
  • 1 small handful of macadamias, cashews, or other nut
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 1 heaped teaspoon peanut or almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 2 dates (pitted)
  • 1 tsp agave or honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 handful of ice

Directions

Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blitz for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth. Serve in a tall glass topped with cacao nibs, coconut flakes, chia seeds, and/or other toppings of choice.
